Must Have Beach Cover Ups!

Summer is coming and I insist every girl must have the most perfect beach cover ups! You have to look cute coming and going and what better way to do that then having the hottest light-weight and comfy covers! Here are some of my favorites:

All Eyes On Emerald!

Emerald is HUGE right now and it is so easy to find some amazingggg pieces any where you shop. You are seeing emerald on everything from gowns, to shoes, to clutches, to nails! This color is certainly making an impact!

Eva Longoria looks beyond gorgeous in this emerald romper which is perfect for spring/summer. Paired with tan heels to elongate her legs Eva kills this look.

Crazy for Mirrored Lenses!

I have to admit I am loving the mirrored lens trend. Glasses like this have been around for years but suddenly we’re seeing more and more of them! Stars like Blake Lively, Jessica Alba, and Kourtney Kardashian have been seen rocking these sunglasses!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The awesome thing about these sunglasses is that they come in so many different crazy styles! I’m not just talking aviator, wayfarer, or the ever popular Jackie O styles, but they come in silver, blue, purple, and even orange!

Prabal Gurung @ Target!

Yes that’s right! Prabal Gurung has a line at Target and it is AMAZING!!! Every piece could be worn by any type of woman and their mixture of business and casual are perfect for spring time!

I’ll start with some of my favorite’s:

 

This top is amazing on so many levels I don’t even know where to begin! Throw this on with straight leg tuxedo pants and a pair of pumps, (either black or a pop of color if you’re feeling daring!) and you’ll have the entire office buzzing! Or throw on some dark wash denim, a pair of sandals and match with a yellow clutch for a drink with the girls! ($26.99)

This is also a piece that can be worn many different ways but I would totally pair this with some amazing nude pumps (to elongate your legs) and a colorful clutch! So it’s a snowy/rainy gloomy day in NYC and since I commute from New Jersey my first thought is that I need to be comfortable and warm! (while of course remaining fashionable) So my choice today were leggings and studded combat boots with an oversized comfy sweater. Always a go to on these cold wintery days!

And even though it’s gloomy, I’m in love with my baby pink spring nails! Color by Essie: muchi muchi. Also I almost never leave home without my Michelle watch and my infinity ring!

Spring/Summer = WEDGES!!

So with the fast approach of spring and summer I cant help but think about wearing my favorite type of shoes, WEDGES!! I absolutely loveee wedges and they are my go-to outfit option when the weather gets warmer! I always pick my wedges first and then make my outfit around them! Another plus-side to wedges is that they are usually wayyy more comfortable than pumps and easier to walk in.

Rachel Bilson never ceases to amaze me with her absolutely amazing fashion that is just oh so effortless!My favorite look on her, and the look that is my inspiration this week is simple denim jeans and a basic blazer! 

 

This look is perfect for almost anything! Plus with a simple shoe and handbag swap this outfit goes from shopping at the mall to dinner and drinks with your friends! This look is one of my personal favorites!

Michael Kors of course!

So as I said I’m all about a bargain BUT one of my favorite designers is Michael Kors and I just loooove his handbags! I currently own the Hamilton Large Tote Bag in bright pink with gold accents and I love it! His handbags are definitely one thing I ill splurge on from time to time!

My next Michael Kors splurge will be the Large Selma Zip-Top Satchel. I love tote bags but I also love having a large purse because its so easy to throw my mac book in there or my kindle or even a snack on the go! I love to always have a piece of fruit and a granola bar with me when I commute into NYC and a large pure/tote bag makes this so much easier.

And I figured I would share with you my dreammmm Michael Kors bag and one day when I have a good job I WILL spoil myself with this bag! This is the Gia Ostritch Embossed Leather Tote and how amazing is this?!? Obsessed.

I can think of 100 places I’d wear my traditional high top Chuck Taylors to. I think Converse’s are a staple for anyones closet, I know I love all of mine!

Juicy Couture!

Okay not a “steal” per se because I obtained my new sweater legally but the price was almost too good to be true! I stopped in the Juicy Couture store today in Atlantic City and found out that all of their sale items were an additional 70% off! I got this amazing Sweater for only $34.95. Originally $168 I couldn’t turn this sweater down and the plus side is that this is such a classic piece it will never go out of style!
